Coralan Tablet is a medication used for patients with angina (chest discomfort connected to the heart) and chronic heart failure. By reducing heart rate, it improves the heart’s efficiency. Patients with heart failure experience less chest pain and have a lower chance of being hospitalised as a result.
What you’ll be given to take is based on your diagnosis and condition. Since treatment for angina or heart failure is often lifelong, discontinuing use suddenly is not advised. Regular dosing with food at the same time daily is recommended. Overdosing can cause your heart rate to slow dangerously, leaving you feeling drained and short of breath. Get medical attention if this happens.
Temporary alterations in eye brightness and heart function are the most frequently reported negative effects. There is a possibility that you will experience unstable blood pressure, headache, dizziness, and blurred vision. Fainting and irregular pulse are two examples of potentially life-threatening adverse effects. Until you know how this medication will impact you, refrain from driving.
Coralan Tablet should not be taken by patients with severe liver illness, a slow resting heart rate, or a cardiac rhythm issue. Very low blood pressure and worsening heart failure are also contraindications to using this medication. There are drug interactions with medications used to treat HIV, fungal infections, and high blood pressure. Do not take if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or attempting to conceive.
